Growing up in the African bush plains of Botswana our founder, Sean, learned the art of making authentic biltong with his family. As a health conscious newly graduated MIT engineer he used an exhaustive Design of Experiments and the help of his taste-testing South African friends (biltong connoisseurs) to fine-tune each variable and ingredient to arrive at an authentic mouth-watering experience.
