A Boma is an enclosure used to protect livestock from wild animals while also serving as a safe meeting place for communal meals, fellowship, and decision making throughout the continent of Africa. Both these features are foundational to our mission and who we are:

Honest, steadfast, and hard working.
Growing up in the African bush plains of Botswana our founder, Sean, learned the art of making authentic biltong with his family. As a health conscious newly graduated MIT engineer he used an exhaustive Design of Experiments and the help of his taste-testing South African friends (biltong connoisseurs) to fine-tune each variable and ingredient to arrive at an authentic mouth-watering experience.
We trust you will enjoy our delicious biltong and partner with us on this journey! We donate 10% of profits to the Rhino Conservation Botswana and Children in the Wilderness foundations.
